Credelio for
dogs is a chewable tablet that is used to treat flea infestations and treat and
control tick infestations. This tasty beef-flavored chew kills fleas and 4 types
of ticks: lone star tick, American dog tick, black-legged tick, and brown dog
tick for a full month. Credelio is for dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age or older,
weighing 4.4 lbs.
Credelio for cats is a palatable
flavoured tablet that are used as treatment for flea and tick infestations in
cats. Each tablet protects your cat for up to 1 month and are suitable for cats
between 0.5 - 2kg. Each pack contains 6 tablets. Administer the chewable tablet
monthly with or after food.
Dosage and administration
Credelio must be
given with food or given within 30 minutes after feeding. It is meant for oral
use only in dogs and puppies 8 weeks or older and weighing at least 4.4 lbs;
also for cats over 1.1 lbs

pet's weight. Treatment with Credelio can begin at any time of the year and can continue year round without interruption.

How does Credelio work?
Credelio contains the ingredient, lotilaner, which is an
antiparasitic drug that kills the fleas and ticks that live on your pet's body
surface. Lotilaner blocks the transfer of chloride ions from passing through
cell membranes, which causes uncontrolled neuromuscular activity and results in
the death of fleas and ticks. Credelio starts killing fleas within 4 hours of
administration and kills over 99% of fleas within 8 hours of administration.
Credelio starts killing ticks* in 4 hours and 98.7% killed within 8 hours.

Cautions:
The safe use of Credelio in breeding, pregnant or lactating
dogs hasn't been evaluated. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures.
